Canyon Creek - WashingtonAttendance at World Class Kayak Academy is reserved for the most qualified candidates. A busy daily schedule requires students to be responsible and diligent in maintaining high academic and athletic goals.  Traveling in foreign cultures or environments also necessitates a greater level of maturity and integrity. The academy reviews its applicants for students who make responsible choices, possess a strong work ethic, have fundamental paddling skills, and demonstrate academic excellence. World Class accepts students on a rolling basis, placing students in desired semesters with available openings, throughout the year. For students who provide submissions according to the following dates however certain advantages or discounts may apply. Application Process

To become a student at World Class Academy the following steps must be taken:

1. Submit an Online Application. This takes 10-15 minutes with no fee nor commitment.

2. Once your online application has been submitted qualified candidates will be contact and sent the Master Application, which is the bulk of the application process. This packet includes, student background information, academic history, athletic/character evaluations, whitewater resume, essay questions. Complete this packet and submit to World Class Academy. Those applying for a scholarship/financial aid should return a scholarship application with the Master Application.

3. World Class will process the Master Application. Accepted students will receive an Acceptance Packet. Once this materials are filled out and sent in you will have secured yourself on a spot on the student roster.

4. Students submitting an Acceptance Packet will receive a Pre-Course packet with more information on the upcoming semester.

Tuition and Payment Plans

Tuition at World Class Academy covers all day-to-day expenses including transportation, lodging, meals, and activities. Tuition does not cover personal gear, kayak equipment, flights (to/from destinations) and the cost of kayak shipment. Cost of flights/kayak shipment vary from destination to destination. Please contact World Class Academy for questions associated with tuition.

Full Year  $33,500

Single Semester $17,500

Students can choose to pay tuition in full or enroll in our payment plan, which is offered through FACTS Tuition Management. To enroll in a payment plan you must have been accepted as a student and returned all of the Acceptance Packet materials that are sent out to students who have been accepted into the program. For students have been accepted into World Class please use the following link to enroll in our payment plan. Note; only families with bank accounts in the United States will be able to enroll in the FACTS Payment Plan. Scholarships and Financial Aid

World Class Academy offers scholarships and Financial Aid opportunities to help make attendance a reality for qualified students. World Class Academy uses the following criteria to judge applicants: Academics, Athletics, Character, Financial Need. All students applying for a Scholarship/Financial Aid must submit a Scholarship Application along with a completed Master Application. Only partial scholarships are given at WCA. Scholarships and scholarship amounts are awarded on a semester-to-semester basis. World Class Academy reserves the right to grant scholarships/financial aid to qualifying students.
