Marin Le Duff

Marin grew up in Normandy, France, where he developed a passion for the ocean, outdoor activities, and adventure. He studied Mathematics at Paris Dauphine University before completing a Master’s degree in Mathematics Education to become a teacher.

After starting his teaching career, Marin moved to French Guiana, where he spent six years combining teaching with his passion for kitesurfing and exploring new places. During this time, he became involved in the local kitesurfing community and enjoyed sharing sessions and experiences with other riders.

As a teacher, Marin likes creating opportunities for students to learn beyond the classroom. He has organised international school trips, allowing students to discover new cultures, gain independence, and experience new environments.

Marin started kitesurfing because of his love for the ocean, wind, and the challenge of continuous progression. What he enjoys most about the sport is the combination of learning, adventure, and the people he meets along the way.

Outside of teaching and kitesurfing, Marin enjoys travelling, outdoor activities, discovering new cultures, and playing chess.
