Millie Aldridge

Growing up in Poole, coastal England, the ocean has always been the center of my life. I find immense presence while interacting with the ocean, and find that time ceases to exist. I come from a sailing background, which led me to compete and coach at an international level for over 10 years, gaining National and European titles.

While at University, I decided to give kitesurfing a go and fell in love with the sport. Since then, I have enjoyed exploring all the disciplines from foil to big air, but my favourites are wave and old school. Kitesurfing has opened new doors for me and taken me all over the world, I feel most alive staying in remote towns, disconnected from the technological world, my favourite is Buen Hombre, DR.

Off the water, I like to express creativity through painting, latin dance, guitar, and Djing. I also enjoy reading, surfing, yoga, team sports and cooking with friends. Being part of the team at Wcka is a real pleasure, travelling the world, helping kids develop their characters and excel in the classroom and on the water. My goal is to help create an experience which is both fun and meaningful for every student.
