Biography
Morgan is from Aotearoa – New Zealand, where he grew up being able to enjoy the vast variety of great outdoor activities New Zealand has to offer. From surfing and fishing in the oceans, to skiing in the mountains, tramping through the bush, and mountain biking on New Zealand’s awesome trails right at the doorstep.
From a young age, he fell in love with mountain biking and gravitated towards the outdoor education classes in high school. After finishing high school, he attended university, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Sports and Leisure. Through this love of mountain biking, he followed a career path of bike mechanics, working for various bike shops and a multitude of branded companies in varying capacities. Through the years of mountain biking, he has had the opportunity to ride in various countries and experience the immense joy that mountain biking has to offer. This love and stoke of mountain biking headed him towards coaching and guiding mountain biking in Rotorua New Zealand. Now
at the MTB academy team at WCA, he is eager to share his passion and stoke of riding mountain bikes to the younger generation!
