Toni Leopold Leidl

Biography

Toni is originally from Passau, Germany, and brings a strong background in both education and high-performance coaching. He holds a bachelor’s degree in sports and education, a master’s in sports science, a professional teaching degree, and a diploma in mental training. He is also an instructor with the German Snowboard Association and has led a bachelor’s-level snowboarding course at the University of Innsbruck.
Before joining international education, Toni spent eight years coaching Austria’s top freestyle snowboarders, supporting athletes at the Youth Olympics, World Championships, and as part of the Austrian team’s preparation for the Olympic Games in Beijing. He’s passionate about board sports—from kitesurfing and snowboarding to skateboarding and surfing—and brings that same energy into the classroom. Outside of school, Toni enjoys filmmaking, music, and exploring nutrition and wellbeing.

Toni has been teaching with WCKA since 2023 and is stoked to be part of a global journey, working with a diverse, young, and talented team of students and staff.
