Joseph grew up in Denver, Colorado and started riding motocross at a young age. He always liked riding bikes, but it was not until he watched his first New World Disorder movie that he became obsessed with MTB. His family would spend weekends and summers at Trestle Bike Park, where he honed his biking skills. Joe used to race downhill and enduro, but now focuses on freeride and big air. Joe attended University of Colorado Denver where he studied biology and biked a lot. Joe also loves to ski and be found skinning up a mountain when not traveling the world with his bikes for WCA.
2024 is Joe’s second year working for WCA and we could not be more stoked to have him on the team! He typically teaches math and science classes, and while he is an expert coach on freeride terrain, he can also tear up an enduro ride. Joe also speaks Czech, Polish, and is learning German. Joe is a well-rounded rider, coach, and an overall stand up human being.
