Resume:

B.A. in Humanities

Sophie grew up in Los Angeles, California, where she discovered climbing at the age of nine. She spent practically every day after school at the climbing gym, and joined a competitive team at age thirteen. For college, she attended Yale University and majored in Humanities, focusing on interdisciplinary learning and English literature. While at Yale, Sophie served as the co-head coach of a local competitive youth team in New Haven, Connecticut.

A lifelong reader and writer, Sophie has a passion for the classics and has led a classics-focused book club for an independent bookstore in Los Angeles for over two years. She also has a love for Greek and Roman history, and often volunteers in the education department of her local ancient arts museum.

When not reading, climbing or volunteering, Sophie can be found hiking, camping, doing jigsaw puzzles, watching Harry Potter, eating pasta, or traveling with friends. She can’t wait to experience TCA and form new lifelong bonds through climbing and literature.
