Mitch Lamb

Mitch grew up in Cambridge, New Zealand, and didn’t take to kayaking until after he graduated high school. Mitch attended Tai Poutini Polytechnic on the West Coast of the South Island, New Zealand, where he learnt to kayak, and his passion for the sport grew. After two years at Tai Poutini, Mitch graduated with a Diploma in Instruction and Guiding and began a career as a raft guide. This provided him the opportunity to travel the world and work in places such as Coloma, CA, and Squamish, BC.

Before working at World Class, Mitch spent most of his time working on the Kaituna River in Okere Falls, New Zealand which he now calls home. Mitch’s favourite thing about teaching at World Class is the ability to build strong relationships with the students and staff, providing a fun and entertaining environment in which to work daily. Oh, and the locations we go to are okay too…
