Seersha grew up in Utah, where she joined a climbing youth group at thirteen. She made lifelong friends in that club and participated in it throughout middle and high school. Seersha attended Utah State University in Logan, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a minor in mathematics.
While earning her degree, Seersha worked as a trip leader for the university’s Outdoor Programs, leading fellow students on climbing and backpacking trips to the City of Rocks, Moab, and Logan Canyon. She also worked as a teaching assistant for Honors Calculus II for two semesters, during which she developed a love for calculus.
During and after her studies, Seersha coached the club and competition climbing teams at Elevation Rock Gym, where she learned the importance of mentorship and being present for her athletes. In addition to climbing and math, Seersha loves animals (especially dogs and whales), writing poetry, solving puzzles, swimming, and highlining. Seersha is excited to bring these passions and her experience to the TCA team this upcoming year.
