B.A. in History and a minor in Spanish and Latin American Studies from Montana State University.
I grew up in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. Growing up, I primarily played team sports and always enjoyed athletics and pushing myself in whatever realm was available. I always wanted to live in the mountains, so I decided to attend college at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana.
At MSU I received a B.A. in History and a minor in Spanish and Latin American Studies. Bozeman, Montana is where I found my passion for all mountain pursuits, including climbing. I have always been enthralled by big mountain climbing objectives in remote areas of the world. In the past few years, however, I have been focused on training and climbing for pure rock climbing.
My experience working with teenagers comes from teaching and mentoring at wilderness therapy treatment programs in Montana and Wyoming. I taught and was the Program Director for The Climbing Academy for several years before recently stepping into an administrative role as the Director of Program Development. I currently live in Bozeman, Montana where I am able to enjoy the plentiful options for skiing, ice climbing, and rock climbing!
