I was born in California and have lived most of my life in Idaho. I am very fortunate to have spent most of my climbing in the beautiful Sawtooths, Lost River Range and City of Rocks in Idaho. My love for climbing goes hand-in-hand with my love for the mountains. I have since taken my climbing across the globe and into South America in particular. I really enjoy the thrill of traveling and climbing at high altitude in the Andes.

I attended the University of Idaho for my undergrad in Education. It was in college that I was introduced to climbing in the form of mentorship. One of my core values in climbing is the importance of having a mentor. The skills that I have personally learned as a climber through the form of mentorship are invaluable.

I have taught Spanish, English, ENL, Art, Graphic Design and College Prep courses in both public and charter schools for the last 7 years. I am incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to combine my two passions here at TCA: climbing and teaching.
