Bachelor of Agricultural Science and Natural Resources – Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile

Benjamín was born and raised near Santiago, Chile. Having lived most of his life on a farm, he has always been interested in outdoor activities and loves to spend time in the mountains.

He was introduced to Mountain Biking by his brother 14 years ago. Initially it was just about building little jumps with their friends after school, but as jumps got bigger and better, he fell in love with the sport. He started with Dirt jumps and wasn’t until 2017 that he gave a try to double suspension bikes. After a few years riding Enduro he switched to a DH bike, moving to a more Freeride riding style.

Today you can either find him digging jumps in the woods, riding jumps with his DJ/DH bike or getting some laps at the bikepark.

He attended Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in Santiago, where he completed five years of studies and got a Bachelor of Agricultural Science and Natural Resources, with a focus in Fruit Production.

After a few years working in the fruit business, he decided to travel, which has allowed him to get experience riding in North America, New Zealand and Europe. In 2024, he kept running into World Class Academy while riding in Queenstown, New Zealand, and his interest was piqued. Now, Ben is the Spanish teacher for the school. Ben is looking forward to a role with World Class Academy where he will be able to continue with his dream of traveling and riding while being part of an amazing community at the school.
