World Class Academy continues to closely monitor the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. As students, families, teachers, classrooms, and communities around the world continue to be affected, we stand by our commitment to provide engaging learning opportunities while mitigating the risks that are inherent with global travel.

We are running programs in person while adhering to our COVID-19 protocols. Our protocols are designed to minimize the risk of exposure and transmission among our group and the communities we visit. We are accepting master applications for the 2021-2022 school year and encourage students to apply. Prospective students and their families are encouraged to reach out with questions about our COVID-19 protocols or other details about our programs.

M.S. in Physics – University of Leeds

Beth grew up in Somerset, in the southwest of England. She started kayaking with her family on summer vacations to the French Alps, but it was really at University that her holiday activity turned into a life-long passion. Beth’s love of kayaking has taken her to 20 different countries around the world, and most recently she has decided to settle in the whitewater mecca of Norway.

Beth has a Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Leeds. After graduating, Beth joined the corporate world for a couple of years working for HSBC Bank. She decided that lifestyle was no longer for her and quit go travelling in 2015. Whilst working as a raft guide on the Rouge River in Quebec, she bumped into World Class Kayak Academy, and the rest is history! Beth has worked for the school for 5 years, both in person and online, and has taught a variety of maths and science classes.
