World Class Academy continues to closely monitor the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. As students, families, teachers, classrooms, and communities around the world continue to be affected, we stand by our commitment to provide engaging learning opportunities while mitigating the risks that are inherent with global travel.

We are running programs in person while adhering to our COVID-19 protocols. Our protocols are designed to minimize the risk of exposure and transmission among our group and the communities we visit. We are accepting master applications for the 2021-2022 school year and encourage students to apply. Prospective students and their families are encouraged to reach out with questions about our COVID-19 protocols or other details about our programs.

M.A. in Experiential Education at Prescott College, B.A., Magna Cum Laude in English/Writing and Fine Arts, at St. Lawrence University

As the Dean of Students, Jess upholds WCA community expectations for academics, athletics, and character, working closely with student and faculty leaders to maintain WCA’s positive school culture. She is a certified teacher in the state of Oregon, with teaching and administrative experience across public schools and alternative/outdoor education organizations, including 4 years as WCA’s Academic Director. Her favorite roles as an educator and mentor have included nature, travel, art, writing, and outdoor adventures that encourage personal growth.

In her leisure time, she likes to paint, grow her own food, backcountry snowboard, hike, surf, ride her bike, and explore planet Earth. She earned her M.A. in Experiential Education at Prescott College in Prescott, AZ and her B.A., Magna Cum Laude in English/Writing and Fine Arts, at St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY.
