COVID-19 UPDATE

World Class Academy continues to closely monitor the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. As students, families, teachers, classrooms, and communities around the world continue to be affected, we stand by our commitment to provide engaging learning opportunities while mitigating the risks that are inherent with global travel.

We are running programs in person while adhering to our COVID-19 protocols. Our protocols are designed to minimize the risk of exposure and transmission among our group and the communities we visit. We are accepting master applications for the 2021-2022 school year and encourage students to apply. Prospective students and their families are encouraged to reach out with questions about our COVID-19 protocols or other details about our programs.

Nic was raised in Bozeman, Montana, where he developed a deep connection with the outdoors and fell in love with the quiet rock climbing crags dispersed throughout the state. Nic attended Montana State University to pursue his passion for arts and creative thinking and received a BFA in Graphic Design; wanting to vary his curriculum as well, he received a BA in Liberal Studies and a Minor in Hispanic Studies.

After graduating high school, Nic interned at The Climbing Academy during its inaugural year, which fostered a deep-found love of experiencing places and travel through rock climbing. Inspired by the joy of coaching and mentoring found at The Climbing Academy, Nic coached his local competition climbing team (Bozeman Climbing Team) throughout his university career.
How climbing can foster relationships, offer mentorship, and create community fuels Nic’s passion for the incredible sport. Off the rock, Nic is passionate about art, print-making, foraging in the woods for cool plants and fungi, and photography.
