Title: Teacher
Courses Taught: AP Statistics and Art
Resume:
B.S. in Botany and Resource Conservation.
Originally from Seattle, Riley moved to Montana to pursue a B.S. in Botany and Resource Conservation. After graduating, Riley worked in those fields. She was a botanist and researcher for the Forest Service and university system until the pandemic hit. At that point, like many people during that time, she took the opportunity to pivot careers, pursuing her passion for climbing through coaching and education.
As a climber since the age of 18, in disciplines ranging from alpine climbing to bouldering and everything in between, Riley was ready to turn her passion into a job. Since that pivotal time, she has been the Head Coach and Youth Coordinator at Freestone Climbing in Missoula, Montana, where she also route sets for the gym. She is also an artist and teacher.
At TCA, Riley will be combining all these experiences by teaching Art and AP Statistics in the Spring Semester. She is beyond excited to teach with TCA and combine all of these passions.
