B.A. in Organismal Biology and Ecology – Colorado College
Sarina grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. She gained a love of the outdoors in the Appalachian Mountains of the Southeast where she was introduced to kayaking by her father. Sarina earned her B.A. in Organismal Biology and Ecology from Colorado College where she raced XC and Short Track for the school’s mountain bike team and paddled as much as possible.
Sarina started working for World Class as a teacher and Program Director for the Kayak Academy. Sarina taught Fine Arts, Seminar, and Comparative Literature and enjoyed developing curriculums for her classes that matched the interests of students and the destinations of each quarter. Sarina thrived in the World Class model of using travel and sport as a platform for learning, and she appreciated the experience of traveling around the world while working towards a greater purpose.
Sarina left the field in 2024 and stepped into the Office Director role at the World Class’ headquarters in White Salmon, WA. Sarina is taking courses in Non-Profit Management and Fundraising to help support the school in these fields. She is also the founder and co-owner of the skull cap company, Nobdody’s.
