Courses Taught: Algebra II, Comparative Literature, Junior Seminar, and Spanish
B.A. in History and a minor in Spanish and Latin American Studies from Montana State University.
I grew up in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. Growing up, I primarily played team sports and always enjoyed athletics and pushing myself in whatever realm was available. I always wanted to live in the mountains, so I decided to attend college at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana.
At MSU I received a B.A. in History and a minor in Spanish and Latin American Studies. Bozeman, Montana is where I found my passion for all mountain pursuits, including climbing. I have always been enthralled by big mountain climbing objectives in remote areas of the world. In the past few years, however, I have been focused on training and climbing for pure rock climbing.
My experience working with teenagers comes from teaching and mentoring at wilderness therapy treatment programs in Montana and Wyoming. This is my second year teaching and coaching for TCA. When I’m not traveling the world teaching with The Climbing Academy, I spend my time in Jackson, Wyoming where I work as a climbing guide for Exum Mountain Guides.
