Will is from Colorado Springs, Colorado and has lived in Boulder, CO for the past 7 years. His passion for teaching began in college where he tutored for math and computer science courses. He was heavily influenced by his uncle who is a professor of chemical engineering at the University of Colorado as well as his mother who is a high school science teacher. He has been coaching MTB on and off since his senior year of high school.
Will’s passion for riding bikes started at a young age when he was gifted a bmx bike for a birthday. He raced in his high school XC mountain bike league and quickly switched to downhill racing when given the option at the University of Colorado. Will was part of CU’s Downhill MTB A team for two years during college, where he studied and graduated with a degree in Computer Science. Soon after graduating and gaining some work experience in software development, he began spending time working on his own software projects while he continued to pursue progression in the sport of MTB. His current focus with riding is getting creative and developing his own unique style while enjoying his time with the amazing people around him. Will is thrilled to be combining his passions for teaching, riding bikes and engaging with the world and people through travel with World Class Academy.
